According to the MHRD-NIRF rankings for 2021, the top MBA colleges in India are IIM Ahmedabad, IIM Bangalore, IIM Calcutta, IIM Kozhikode, and IIM Indore. According to the NIRF rankings as well as other B-school surveys such as India Today, Outlook, and Business Today, XLRI Jamshedpur, MDI Gurgaon, IMI, SPJIMR, IMT, VIT, Fore School of Management, and Department of Management Studies of the IITs are among the best MBA colleges in India.


A couple of India's top MBA colleges are also consistently listed among the best in the world. For example, the ISB was placed fifth in the Asia-Pacific B-Schools ranking 2021 by Bloomberg Businessweek, whereas IIM Bangalore was ranked sixth.


In the current Financial Times Masters in Management (MiM) Rankings 2021, IIM Ahmedabad, IIM Bangalore, and SPJIMR were also listed among the top 50 global institutes.
