Admission Process of Engineering Colleges in Bangalore and their Placements

Engineering College Admissions Process

Engineering College Admission allows students to use and expand their scientific and practical knowledge in order to investigate, maintain, develop, create, and design a variety of unique systems, devices, equipment, and processes. The admissions procedure for most engineering institutions in Bangalore is overseen by an exclusive admissions council established by the institution. Admissions criteria, on the other hand, are developed in accordance with AICTE and state government requirements. To pursue top-rated technical education, students can enroll in any Bangalore Engineering institution for any discipline of their choice.

Engineering Admissions Process:

  • Admission to engineering colleges in Bangalore is based on the Government of Karnataka's guidelines, which include an admission matrix.

  • The Common Entrances Test (CET) held by the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) fills 45 percent of the seats, COMEDK (Common Entrances test conducted by the Private Managements Association) fills 30 percent of the seats, and Management Quota fills 25 percent of the seats.

  • Please note that only students who are Karnataka residents and have studied in the state for at least seven years are eligible to take the CET, whereas both Karnataka and non-Karnataka students are eligible to take the Comed-k Entrance Exam.

  • AIEEE Counseling is not offered for admission to Bangalore's Top Engineering Colleges.

  • Admission to Bangalore's Engineering Colleges is also contingent on meeting minimal qualifying requirements of 45 percent in PCM for general category students and 40 percent in PCM for SC/ST students.

Bangalore Engineering Placements

Because they are located in Silicon City, which is home to thousands of multinational corporations, software organizations, and corporate facilities, engineering colleges in Bangalore nurture high-quality placement training and recruitment chances. The majority of universities guarantee 100% placement to their students.

The main goals of the placement cell in the majority of Bangalore's engineering colleges are:

  • To ensure that all students have access to full-time jobs.

  • To determine the students' key competencies.

  • In order to equip students to meet the industry's expectations,
